{"id":3026,"date":"2025-10-10T22:43:35","date_gmt":"2025-10-10T22:43:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/recipesw.com\/?p=3026"},"modified":"2025-10-10T22:43:37","modified_gmt":"2025-10-10T22:43:37","slug":"southern-fried-chicken-batter","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/recipesw.com\/index.php\/2025\/10\/10\/southern-fried-chicken-batter\/","title":{"rendered":"Southern Fried Chicken Batter"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>INGREDIENTS<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2 beaten egg<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1 cup milk<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2 teaspoon paprika<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1\/2 teaspoon poultry seasoning<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>4 teaspoons garlic salt<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2 teaspoon black pepper<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2 cup all-purpose flour<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Directions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Beat the egg and milk together in a bowl.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Combine the flour with the garlic salt, pepper, poultry seasoning and paprika in a big plastic bag.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Put the chicken in the bag, seal it and shake to coat it.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dip the flour-coated chicken in the egg mixture and again in the flour mixture.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Heat the oil in a skillet to 365 degrees F.
