Try it and see what all the hype is about!&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ingredients<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>1 pound crumbled ground beef\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 yellow onion, diced\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00a03 to 4 pounds of potatoes, peeled and sliced\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00a08 ounces, or more Cheddar Cheese, shredded\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00a01 can Cheddar Cheese soup mix\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00a012 ounces evaporated milk, or whole milk\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00a0\u00a0\u00bd cup milk\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00a0\u00a01 tsp salt\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00a0\u00a0\u00bd tsp pepper\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>How To Make<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Preheat the oven to 350*<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Spray a 9\u00d713 baking dish with a non stick cooking spray<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In a large skillet, add the onion and ground beef and cook until the meat is done<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Slice the potatoes to about \u00bc\u201d slices<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add one layer of potatoes to the bottom of the baking pan<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sprinkle with salt and pepper<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Top with approximately \u2153 of the meat mixture and spread evenly over the potatoes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sprinkle with \u2153 of the shredded cheese<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Repeat this two more times in layers<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The last layer should be the remaining cheese<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In a bowl, combine the Cheddar cheese soup mix, the milk and the evaporated milk, with optional salt and pepper if desired<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pour the soup mix over the top of the potatoes and beef mixture<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cover the baking pan tightly with aluminum foil and place in the oven<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bake for one hour<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes to get a golden topping on the cheese.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If the potatoes are thicker, you will need to bake the dish longer<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Enjoy<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This cheesy, delicious Hamburger Potato Casserole recipe is an easy and yummy&nbsp;weeknight family dinner.&nbsp; And you can make the entire dish in advance and simply reheat for an even easier time-saving dinner!
