{"id":2441,"date":"2024-07-22T12:11:54","date_gmt":"2024-07-22T12:11:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/univerti.com\/?p=2441"},"modified":"2024-07-22T12:11:54","modified_gmt":"2024-07-22T12:11:54","slug":"cinna-bun-cake","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/recipesw.com\/index.php\/2024\/07\/22\/cinna-bun-cake\/","title":{"rendered":"Cinna-bun Cake"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>My Mom makes the best cinnamon buns.&nbsp; I don\u2019t make cinnamon buns\u2026I\u2019ve been craving Mom\u2019s cinnamon buns, but they\u2019ve been away.&nbsp; So I had to improvise.&nbsp; Enter&nbsp;Cinnamon Bun Cake, or as our two year old calls it,&nbsp;Cinabun Cake.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ingredients<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Base:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>3 cups flour<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1\/4 teaspoon salt<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 cup sugar<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>4 teaspoons baking powder<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 1\/2 cups milk<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 eggs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 teaspoons vanilla<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1\/2 cup butter, melted<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Topping:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>1 cup butter, softened<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 cup brown sugar<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 tablespoons flour<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 tablespoon cinnamon<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Glaze<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>2 cups powdered sugar<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>5 tablespoons milk<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 teaspoon vanilla<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How To Make Cinna-bun Cake<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Pre-heat oven to 350F.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Prepare a 9-inch x 13-inch baking pan by spraying with non-stick cooking oil or, if you prefer, coat the pan with butter.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In a large bowl, mix all of the base ingredients, with the exception of the butter, together until thoroughly combined.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add the melted butter last and pour into the prepared pan; set aside,<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">To prepare the topping:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>In a small bowl, mix all of the topping ingredients together; mix well to combine.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">To assemble the cake for baking:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Drop topping, by teaspoonful over the base, as evenly as you can, over the entire base.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Use a butter knife and swirl the topping into the base.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Place into the pre-heated oven and bake for 28 \u2013 30 minutes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">To prepare and use the glaze:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>While the cake is baking, using a small bowl, prepare the glaze by mixing all ingredients until completed combined; set aside.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Remove cake from oven and glaze the cake while still warm.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>My Mom makes the best cinnamon buns.&nbsp; I don\u2019t make cinnamon buns\u2026I\u2019ve been craving Mom\u2019s cinnamon buns, but they\u2019ve been away.&nbsp; So I had to improvise.&nbsp; Enter&nbsp;Cinnamon Bun Cake, or as our two year old calls it,&nbsp;Cinabun Cake.
