There\u2019s just something so good and comforting about this cheesy pasta dish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I love making homemade mac and cheese. I have a quick&nbsp;stovetop mac and cheese&nbsp;that\u2019s perfect for lunch. And then there\u2019s this baked version that seems to be extra creamy and because it\u2019s baked it gets a delicious crunchy topping that\u2019s irresistible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This version reminds me of my mom\u2019s mac and cheese. She always topped hers with crushed saltine crackers instead of the panko crumbs. Either way, this old fashioned macaroni and\u00a0Cheese\u00a0is sure to please!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ingredients<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>3 cups dry elbow macaroni<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>4 Tbsp salted butter<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 (370 mL\/12 oz) cans evaporated\u00a0milk <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1\/3 cup\u00a0milk\u00a0of choice<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 large eggs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1\/4 tsp garlic salt<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>4 cups cheddar\u00a0cheese , shredded<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 tsp paprika<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How To Make Good Ole Fashion Mac and\u00a0cheese <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add salt and macaroni, and cook until al dente.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Drain and return to the pot.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add in the butter and stir until the butter is melted. Set aside.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In a large bowl, mix together the evaporated milk, milk, eggs and garlic salt until fully combined.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In a separate bowl, mix together the\u00a0cheeses .<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Preheat the oven to 375\u00b0F. Lightly spray a 9\u00d713 inch baking pan.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Layer 1\/3 of the macaroni, then 1\/3 of the\u00a0cheese .<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Repeat with the remaining macaroni and\u00a0Cheese\u00a0mixture.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pour the\u00a0milk\u00a0mixture over top.
