Over the years, I\u2019ve put pecans in all kinds of recipes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"720\" height=\"960\" src=\"https:\/\/recipesw.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/FB_IMG_1715248642339.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1309\" srcset=\"https:\/\/recipesw.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/FB_IMG_1715248642339.jpg 720w, https:\/\/recipesw.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/FB_IMG_1715248642339-225x300.jpg 225w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 720px) 100vw, 720px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ingredients<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>3 Cups Cake Flour<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 Cups Sugar<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 Cup Packed Brown Sugar<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>3 Sticks Butter (Room Temperature)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>5 Eggs (Room Temperature)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 C Whole buttermilk (Room Temperature)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1\/2 Tsp Baking Powder<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1\/4 Tsp Salt<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 Tablespoon Vanilla Extract<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 Tablespoon pound cake extract<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 Cups Toasted Pecans<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Thick Glaze<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>2 cups Powdered Sugar<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>4 oz Butter<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>4 oz Cream Cheese<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>4 tsp half and half<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How To Make Butter Pecan Pound Cake<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Cream butter and sugar together until smooth(about 3-7 minutes)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>slowly add eggs 1 at a time<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>add flavors<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>add flour and milk<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>starting with flour and ending with flour<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>stir in chopped pecans<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>pour in greased tube pan<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bake 325 Degrees for 1 hour 10 minutes. Check after 45 minutes. Mine was ready at 1 hour .<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Insert a toothpick in the center of the cake and if the toothpick comes out with batter on it leave your cake in for the complete baking time.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The toothpick must come out clean.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Let cool in pan on wire rack for 20 mins. Then place on cake plate. Make sure to cover so cake won\u2019t dry out.
