No-Oven Stovetop Bread – Don’t Lose This Recipe

Ingredients:

2 cups (250g) all-purpose flour or bread flour

1 tsp salt

1 tsp sugar (optional)

1 tsp instant yeast

3/4 cup (180ml) warm water

1 tbsp oil or melted butter

Instructions:

Prepare the Dough

In a bowl, mix the flour, salt, sugar, and yeast.

Gradually add warm water and mix until a dough forms.

Knead for about 8–10 minutes until smooth and elastic.

Cover and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.

Shape the Bread

Once risen, punch down the dough and shape it into a round or oval loaf.

Let it rest for 15 minutes.

Cook on Stovetop

Heat a heavy-bottomed pan (cast iron works best) over low heat and lightly grease it.

Place the dough in the pan, cover with a lid, and cook for about 10–12 minutes on one side.

Flip and cook for another 8–10 minut
