“Zrazy” on Belarusian





mushrooms 500 grams
boiled eggs 3 pieces
onion 1 piece
sour cream 150 grams
Potatoes 800 grams
boiled rice 0.5 cup
Wheat flour 5 Art. spoons
salt to taste
pepper to taste
vegetable oil 100 grams


Cooking method:

First, prepare the filling: finely chop mushrooms and fry in vegetable oil with onions. Season with salt and pepper, add chopped boiled eggs and pre-boiled rice.

Now proceed to Zrazy: Boil peeled potatoes in salted water until tender. A decoction of the potatoes, drain into the bowl, and the potato mash into a puree, adding a little broth. Stir the flour, mix well so as to obtain a soft dough. Divide it into small pieces and shape into cakes hands. In the center of each cake to put the stuffing. Pinch the edges, giving Zrazy form elongated meatballs. Roll them in flour and fry on a hot pan with vegetable oil until golden brown.
