Strawberry jelly

Strawberry, or, more precisely, large-fruited strawberry garden – one of the most popular and loved by the people of berries. Delicious, aromatic and also very useful, it matures in the territory of our country among the first. By the way, cultivating the strawberries in Russia first began under Tsar Alexei Mikhailovich near Moscow, in Izmailovo garden.
From this miracle berry cook a lot of desserts (including strawberry jelly, mousses, creams, ice cream, etc.) and drinks her pies and cakes, canned it for winter.



fresh strawberries 300 grams

Water 1 liter
sugar 150 grams
gelatin 2 Art. spoons
lemon 1 piece


Cooking method:

Washed berries mash, squeeze the juice, pour it in a non-oxidizing dish and keep in the refrigerator until use.
The remaining pulp is pour hot water, add sugar, bring mixture to a boil. The resulting syrup, strain and cool.

Enter into the cooled syrup pre-soaked gelatin and stir.
Bring the syrup to a boil gelatin and pour strawberry and squeezed lemon juice.

Jelly pour into molds, previously rinsed with cold water, and cool to gelling.

Before serving, dip the molds for a few seconds in hot water and place the jelly on dessert plates.
