Gugelhupf (Vanilla baba)





Wheat flour – 300 g of
yeast – 20 g of
milk – 125 g
butter – 160 g
egg yolks – 4 pcs.
sugar – 3 tbsp. spoons of
vanilla sugar – 1/2 sachet
rum – 1 tbsp. Spoon
peel grated 1/2 lemon
powdered sugar for sprinkling
bread crumbs for sprinkling form


Cooking method:

The yeast dissolve in warm milk. Add the melted butter, sugar, vanilla sugar, pour rum, put the zest, then – the yolks.
Stir the flour, mix well and put in a warm place for fermentation. When the dough rises and is free to move away from the walls of the cookware, to mix washed, obsushenny roll in flour and raisins and let rise again.

Pour batter into a greased and sprinkled with breadcrumbs form, put in a warm place to come back it. Bake in oven at medium temperature for 1 hour.

Ready Babu slightly cool, carefully remove from the mold, cover with a cloth and let cool completely. Before serving, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
