Chicken soup with vegetables

Ingredients:

chicken, cut into chunks – 1 kg
potatoes, peeled and diced – 3 pcs.
Carrots, sliced circles -. 3 pieces
of pumpkin, peeled and cut into large cubes – 500 g
parsley (root and green), chopped – 1/2 cup
celery , sliced – 4 pcs.
onion, chopped – 1 pc.
garlic, crushed – 3 cloves of
rice – 1 cup of
lemon zest -. 1/2 pieces
olive oil – 2 tbsp. spoon
bay leaf – 1 pc.
cumin dried – 1/2 Art. spoons of
salt

 

Cooking method:

Onions fried in butter until golden brown, add the celery and continue grilling. Then put the chicken pieces, mix well and fry for 3 minutes, turning each piece. Add the garlic, mix well and fry for a further 1 minute.
Then add water, put the potatoes, carrots, pumpkin. Meanly more water to completely cover the products. Put on high heat and bring to a boil, then tightly close the lid and boil 15 minutes on low heat until tender vegetables. Put the rice, parsley, spices, and boil until tender, but not too long to not digest vegetables.

When serving put in each plate a slice of lemon.
